Prospero Teaching is seeking five Teaching Assistants for a welcoming Blackburn school to start immediately. You will support students aged 11-18, helping them engage with learning and promoting positive behaviour within an inclusive environment.

This full-time, temporary role runs until July 2027, with hours from 8:30am to 4:00pm. The position offers a competitive daily rate and excellent school experience for aspiring educators.

Formación

• Recent graduate with a 2:2 degree or above.
• Experience as Teaching Assistant or working with young people.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding Training issued within the last 12 months (desirable).

Teaching Assistant

We are working with a welcoming and supportive school in Blackburn that is looking to appoint five Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team.

The successful candidates will play a key role in helping pupils engage with their learning, promoting positive behaviour, and contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment.

• Minimum Rate of Pay: GBP100 per day
• Hours: 8:30am 4:00pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Recent Graduate with a 2:2 degree or above, or
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, or
• Experience working with young people through coaching, mentoring, tutoring, youth work, sports, or similar settings
• Previous experience working within a UK school is desirable
• Up-to-date Safeguarding Training issued within the last 12 months (desirable)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references related to working with children or young people
