Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary schools in Lymington and New Forest. You will provide dedicated 1:1 SEN support, helping pupils feel confident, included and supported in daily learning.

The role involves delivering 1:1 support for SEN pupils and assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning tasks. Start date is September 2026, with full-time hours and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ employment history.
• Experience in education or working with children is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.

Location: Lymington and New Forest

At Teaching Personnel, we’re looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils in welcoming primary schools across New forest. In this role, you will provide dedicated 1:1 SEN support, helping pupils feel confident, included and supported in their daily learning.

The Role

• Location: Primary schools across Lymington and new forest
• Pay: £14.25 per hour
• Contract: Full-time
• Start date: September 2026
• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEN
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning support

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of two years’ employment history
• Experience in education or working with children is desirable (but not essential)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A Child DBS on the Update Serviceor willingness to apply for one
