Position: Teaching AssistantLocation: M11, ManchesterStart Date: September 2025Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (30-minute lunch break)Salary: £13.69 to £15.87 per hour

Reeson Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position in a friendly and inclusive primary school in the M11 area of Manchester. Starting in September, this Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone passionate about Early Years and looking for a role with potential for a permanent school contract.

Key Responsibilities For The Teaching Assistant

• Work as a Teaching Assistant within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children in their learning and development.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with varying needs, helping to build their communication, social, and motor skills.
• Collaborate with teachers and EYFS staff to deliver engaging and child-centred activities.
• Support children with toileting, feeding, and other basic care needs as required in the EYFS setting.
• Help create a calm, structured, and stimulating environment for learning through play.
• Observe and track pupil progress under the guidance of the class teacher and contribute to EYFS assessments.
• Maintain strong communication with parents, staff, and external professionals when needed.

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within an EYFS or early primary setting.
• A caring, patient, and proactive attitude suited to working with young children.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
