Reeson Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position in a friendly and inclusive primary school in the M11 area of Manchester. Starting in September, this Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone passionate about Early Years and looking for a role with potential for a permanent school contract.

Key Responsibilities For The Teaching Assistant

Work as a Teaching Assistant within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children in their learning and development.
Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with varying needs, helping to build their communication, social, and motor skills.
Collaborate with teachers and EYFS staff to deliver engaging and child-centred activities.
Support children with toileting, feeding, and other basic care needs as required in the EYFS setting.
Help create a calm, structured, and stimulating environment for learning through play.
Observe and track pupil progress under the guidance of the class teacher and contribute to EYFS assessments.
Maintain strong communication with parents, staff, and external professionals when needed.

Requirements For The Teaching Assistant

Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within an EYFS or early primary setting.
A caring, patient, and proactive attitude suited to working with young children.
Understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
Willingness to commit full-time and long-term from September.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a warm and professional team.
