Job summary

Hoople is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support in the classroom as part of the Study Programme for 16-19 year olds, and those up to 24 with an EHCP, who struggle in mainstream education. The role focuses on supporting learners with social, emotional and mental health needs and disabilities, helping them prepare for their next steps.

The post is permanent, offers up to 30 hours per week (to be agreed) and a salary of £24,613–£29,184 pro rata (full-time equivalent).

Hoople's Study Programme is aimed at 16-19yr olds, and those up to the age of 24 with an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP), who struggle in mainstream education, supporting learners with social, emotional, and mental health needs and disabilities. Our aim is to support these young people, who are not yet ready to enter further education, work, or onto an apprenticeship and help prepare them for the next steps in their lives. We are looking for an additional Teaching Assistant to support in the classroom. You will need a positive approach, an ability to motivate and inspire, along with creative and organisational skills.
