Job summary

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking multiple motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across one of our mainstream primary schools within the Godalming area. The ideal educators would have experience working either 1-1 or within small groups of students either in a mainstream primary or SEN School.

The school in question has confirmed a minimum of 4 available positions in either 1-1 or class based roles, starting September 2026 with a competitive daily rate.

  • Passion for education and helping students succeed.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with young people.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting students.
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is important
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills (training can be provided).

The Role

The school in question are re-arranging staff for September but have confirmed a minimum of 4 available positions in either 1-1 or class based roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting students in completing assigned work and encouraging independent learning.
  • Monitoring student progress and reporting any concerns to the class teacher.
