Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking multiple motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across several mainstream primary schools in the Farnham area. The role includes 1:1 or small group support in mainstream or SEN settings, with flexible part-time or full-time options and a typical daily rate around £93-£100.

The position starts September 2026, with 8:30-3:30 working hours and ongoing training, development, and dedicated consultant support through Teaching Personnel.

Experienced Teaching Assistant Required (Farnham)

Salary: £93-100/day

The Role

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking multiple motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across several of our mainstream primary schools within the Farnham area. The ideal educators would have experience working either 1-1 or within small groups of students either in a mainstream primary or SEN School. As an agency we work with an abundance of schools in the area seeking support staff on either a full-time, part-time or flexible basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing 1:1 support to a student or small group work within a resource base
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
  • Supporting students in completing assigned work and encouraging independent learning.
  • Monitoring student progress and reporting any concerns to the class teacher.
Key Requirements
  • Passion for education and helping students succeed.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with young people.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting students.
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is important
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills (training can be provided).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
