Job summary

Wickham Common Primary School is seeking a dedicated team member to join a multi-disciplinary support staff alongside teachers, to help learners with a range of needs.

The role involves supporting pupils with learning and welfare, working with individuals and groups, and assisting the class teacher to maximise outcomes. DBS checks and safeguarding compliance are required.

Job description

Hours & Pay:

30 hours per week; Monday to Friday; 38 weeks per year; Actual pay from £17,877.61 pa.

Key Purpose:

To be a member of a multi-disciplinary team, under the leadership and supervision of the teacher/senior staff: work with individuals/groups to support the learning and physical/general care of pupils, including those with SEND; enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the support of pupils and the classroom.
