This post is funded with EHCP funding and the role will oversee, coordinate and deliver targeted interventions and support for pupils with EHCPs, directing and supporting Teaching Assistants to implement aspects of EHCP provision where appropriate. The post will provide flexibility to cover classes and release teachers for coaching activities, senior teacher release time, professional development and training, thereby supporting the school's improvement priorities. The successful applicant will also provide lunchtime support for EHCP pupils and the wider school community through the development of enrichment opportunities that contribute to personal development and wellbeing. We are looking for someone with a strong, sensitive and caring approach to children's needs, who is able to be an effective communicator and think creatively. You will need to show a high degree of initiative and be solution focussed. It would also be beneficial to have experience of working with children with complex needs.
