St Mary's C of E Primary School is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND in a Key Stage 2 setting and possibly other classes. The role involves working with class teachers and the SENDCo to help children access learning and reach EHCP outcomes.
You will build trusting relationships, support emotional regulation, provide breaks, adapt activities and promote inclusion while working as part of a collaborative team to support pupils across the school.

St Mary's C of E Primary School is seeking a caring, patient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team for 5 days per week. This role will primarily involve supporting pupils with SEND within a Key Stage 2 classroom, although there may be opportunities to work alongside children in other classes as required.

You will work closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to support pupils with SEND to access learning successfully within the classroom environment. You will play a vital role in helping children develop confidence, independence and positive relationships, whilst ensuring that their individual needs are met in line with their EHCP outcomes and support plans.

Previous experience of supporting children with SEND, including those with EHCPs, would be advantageous, although the right personal qualities and a willingness to learn are equally important.
