Job summary

Severn Vale School in Gloucester is seeking a Learning Partner to support students in the SEND Department. This role offers part-time hours and pro-rata pay, working on-site in an inclusive secondary setting.

The successful candidate will assist learning, adapt materials for diverse needs, and contribute to a supportive school environment, helping pupils achieve their potential and build confidence.

Summary

Severn Vale School is an Academy which provides an inclusive secondary education for students aged 11-16, that delivers strong student outcomes through high quality teaching and outstanding pastoral care. We are a popular and over-subscribed single academy trust with 1350 students on roll.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic Learning Partner to our wonderful SEND Department. The role is to support students with a range of needs that may include cognition and learning, communication and interaction, sensory and physical, and SEMH. You will be part of the team that helps them learn, develop their abilities, and raise their self-esteem.

Salary and Hours

Salary: Grade F, Point 6 - 12 (Qualified) £25,989 - £28,598 (full time equivalent)
Grade D, Point 3 - 6 (Unqualified) £24,796 - £25,989 (full time equivalent)
Pro-rata salary will be dependent on hours. Pay award pending.

Hours: 39 weeks per year, hours can be negotiated
