Leigh Academy Bexley is seeking a driven Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated inclusion team. You will support students 1:1, in small groups, and within whole-class settings, helping pupils access education both academically and welfare-wise.
Experience with autism and a passion for making a difference are valued. Reporting to the SENDCO, you will contribute to a collaborative, supportive environment across mainstream and specialist provision.
At Leigh Academy Bexley, we have a fantastic opportunity for a driven, experienced Teaching Assistant to join our thrive-first, highly collaborative inclusion team.
Our staff are genuinely dedicated to delivering a first-class education, and we are expanding. With positions available across both our mainstream classrooms and our brand-new, bespoke specialist provision, we are looking for passionate educators who love working with secondary-aged students and want to help shape their futures.
No two days are the same. Whether you are working 1-to-1, guiding small groups, or supporting a whole classroom, your presence provides the vital continuity our students need to thrive. Reporting directly to the SENDCO, you will deliver targeted interventions that bridge the gap for our learners - ensuring they can access their education fully from both an academic and welfare perspective.
You won't just be assisting; you'll be a key pillar in a successful, forward-thinking support system that champions every single student.

We want our students to be successful in their chosen careers, in their relationships and in their interaction with the world. We aspire for Leigh Academy Bexley to be a highly effective and truly inclusive school, reflecting the vibrant, diverse, and dynamic community that we serve.
