Belmont Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Ellesmere Port. You will support learning across the curriculum, assist teachers, and help create a warm, inclusive classroom where every student can thrive.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in delivering classroom instruction tailored to individual student needs, including those with disabilities or autism.
  • Support students during lessons, activities, and transitions to ensure a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to reinforce learning concepts and build student confidence.
  • Implement creative writing exercises and other engaging activities to stimulate student creativity and communication skills.
  • Monitor student behavior, provide encouragement, and promote social interaction among peers.
  • Collaborate with educators and specialists to develop personalized learning plans for students requiring additional support.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior incidents, and activity participation.
