Job summary

Crown Wood Primary School in Bracknell is seeking a permanent Teaching Assistant to join our team. The role is 31.25 hours per week during term time, with 08:30-15:15 hours and a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. The post covers across the primary setting, initially KS2, with fixed-term considerations and lunchtime support.

We welcome applicants who may wish to qualify as a teacher in the future and who demonstrate strong literacy, numeracy and a genuine commitment to working with children.

  • Salary: Salary calculated in line with NJC (fringe) pay scale, points 03-06, £25,525.00 - £26,718.00 per annum FTE. Actual Salary £18,137.84 - £18,985.58

We are looking to recruit a permanent Teaching Assistant with effect from 14th September 2026.

Crown Wood Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our existing team on a full-time, permanent basis. We are looking for versatile professionals who are able and willing to work across the whole primary setting.

1x Teaching Assistant, (initially in KS2)

31.25 Hours p/w, term time only Grade: K‑J Scale Points: 3‑6

The post is for 31.25 hours (8.30am – 3.15pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch), term time only. The post will include lunchtime support. The post is available on a fixed term basis subject to all relevant checks, referenced and successful probation period.
