The Teaching Assistant will work under the direction of the Head of Juniors and in line with the needs of classroom teachers to:

1. Support the delivery of learning for each pupil to enable them to reach their potential, working with individual pupils, small groups, or within a whole class setting to support high standards of teaching, learning, and pupil progress.
2. Actively uphold the values and ethos of the school in all interactions with pupils, modeling expected behaviors.
3. Respond to the specific learning needs of pupils.
4. Proactively manage pupil behavior and supervise pupils during lunch and break times as required.

A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent teaching qualification) is essential.

Qualifications or experience supporting English and Maths are desirable, and candidates ideally will have experience supporting children of junior school age.

This is a permanent position.
