Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child’s life? Do you have a warm, patient and nurturing approach to learning? We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a KS1 pupil who needs a little extra support to shine.

You will work closely with a KS1 child on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support to help them access the curriculum, develop their confidence, and enjoy their learning journey. This is a rewarding opportunity to build a strong, trusting relationship and make a lasting impact.
Your day-to-day will involve:
Supporting learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
Helping the child to develop independence and confidence
Using strategies to manage behaviour in a calm and positive way
Monitoring progress and feeding back to the team
Creating a safe and engaging learning environment
A nurturing, positive and patient individual
Previous experience working with children (school-based or other)
A good understanding of early learning and child development
A flexible and proactive attitude
(Desirable) Experience supporting children with additional needs
A friendly, collaborative and supportive team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
