Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Clitheroe, Lancashire, who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis after the October half-term break.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive individual looking to make a positive impact on young people looking to make a positive impact on young people's education and development. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support students both inside and outside of the classroom, helping them to achieve their full potential.

The Role:

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday during term time
• Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Providing one-to-one and small group interventions
• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
• Supporting students with additional learning needs where required
• Encouraging student engagement, confidence and academic progress
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with young people, ideally within an educational setting
• Be patient, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with students
• Possess strong communication and teamwork skills
• Have a genuine passion for supporting young people in their learning
• Be able to provide references covering the last two years
