Job summary

Thrive Group in Liverpool is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the secondary age range, helping them access learning and build confidence. You will work with teaching staff and the wider pastoral team to support pupils’ progress and inclusive learning in a welcoming school environment.

Role involves 1:1 and small-group interventions, collaborating with teachers to keep pupils engaged, and providing emotional and behavioural support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably within an education setting.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed.
  • Excellent communication skills, patience and resilience.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • A proactive, flexible and supportive approach to your work.

Responsibilities

Teaching Assistant

Are you a passionate, caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference to the lives of young people?

We are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone looking to develop their career in education.
