Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in Leyland. This temporary/full-time role offers excellent opportunities to support students' progress, confidence and wellbeing, with a pay rate of from £14.25 per hour.

The role involves assisting lessons, delivering small-group interventions, and supporting pupils with SEN, under the guidance of the teaching team. Start date from November 2026 or sooner, with flexible progression prospects.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with young people in a school, coaching, mentoring, youth work, or similar setting.
  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
  • TA qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Support students in lessons across a range of subjects.
