Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant in South Gloucestershire to support learning across KS1 and KS2 on a day-to-day basis, assisting the class teacher and helping create an inclusive classroom.

The role suits someone with a TA qualification (desirable), experience in a primary setting, and a patient, adaptable approach with clear communication. DBS checks may be required.

Salary: £14.25 - £15.50 per hour

Are you an enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant who enjoys supporting children with their learning?

Do you have experience working with pupils with additional needs or SEND?

Are you adaptable, reliable and confident supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2?

TeacherActive are looking to hire a Primary Teaching Assistant in South Gloucestershire on a day-to-day basis, working across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their learning, assist the class teacher with classroom activities and help create an inclusive and positive learning environment.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• Experience supporting children with additional needs or SEND
• Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and/or KS2
• Strong communication skills
• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
