TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in Cardigan, supporting pupils across Nursery, Reception, KS1 and KS2 in a busy primary school environment.

You will assist with daily activities, run small group interventions and provide extra guidance to pupils needing help. The role starts immediately and is on-site, with a temporary contract and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting.

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

TeacherActive are looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will be working with pupils across Nursery, Reception, Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2, supporting the class teacher with daily activities, delivering small group interventions and providing additional support to pupils who may require extra guidance with their learning and development.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• A good understanding of the Curriculum for Wales
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A positive, patient and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning
