Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is recruiting a Primary School Teaching Assistant in Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan. The role covers day-to-day activities across KS1/KS2, supporting pupils with learning and development in a Welsh-medium setting as required by the school schedules.

The successful candidate will have experience in primary education, basic Welsh language ability, and a good grasp of the KS1/KS2 curriculum, with a positive, proactive attitude toward student progress and classroom engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting, KS1 and KS2 environments preferred.
• Basic Welsh language skills to support teaching and learning.
• Solid understanding of the primary curriculum across KS1 and KS2.
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude with willingness to support children's learning.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in KS1/KS2 to progress learning goals.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
• Engage in onboarding and CPD opportunities offered by the agency.
