TeacherActive Limited. in Cardiff is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support primary pupils with ALN, ASD and ADHD. The role is part-time, temporary, with an immediate start and requires adaptability in a busy classroom.

Qualifications

Salary: £85.50 - £92.63 per day

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Additional Learning Needs / ALN?

Do you have experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder / ASD and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder / ADHD?

Are you adaptable, proactive and able to think on your feet in a busy primary school environment?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a supportive primary school based in the CF3 area of Cardiff, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant. The school provides a supportive learning environment where pupils with Additional Learning Needs / ALN are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and educational abilities.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a part-time, temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting primary-aged pupils with ASD and ADHD, adapting to their individual learning needs, assisting with classroom activities and providing consistent support to help pupils engage positively with their education.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable
• Experience supporting children with ALN, particularly ASD and ADHD
• Experience working within a primary school setting
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• The ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing situations
• A patient, positive and proactive approach to supporting children's learning
