Job summary

Horizon Teachers is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 pupil at a welcoming primary school in Camden. This full-time, long-term role begins in September and aims to help the pupil access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop key social and communication skills.

You will join a supportive team committed to every child's success and collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure safeguarding and inclusive practices throughout the day.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
  • Experience working with pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or SEMH is desirable.
  • A patient, caring, and resilient approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Job description

Horizon Teachers is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Camden to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 pupil on a full-time, long-term basis starting in September.
