Operam Limited is seeking a compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Greenwich. You will support pupils with severe and complex needs, working closely with teachers and staff to promote learning and well-being throughout the school day.

The role requires patience, resilience and a genuine desire to help children thrive, including assisting with personal care where necessary. DBS checks and QTS-equivalent registration are relevant for this position.

We are currently recruiting for a caring and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is patient, nurturing and committed to supporting pupils with severe and complex needs to achieve their full potential.

The role will include:

• Supporting pupils with severe and complex SEND needs across the school day.
• Working closely with class teachers and specialist staff to support learning and development.
• Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and sensory needs.
• Assisting with personal care routines, including toileting, changing and intimate care where required.
• Encouraging communication, engagement and independence.

The ideal candidate will have:

• The confidence and willingness to support pupils with complex needs, including personal care requirements.
• Previous experience supporting children with SEND, complex needs and profound learning disabilities.
• A positive attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference.
