Role: Teaching Assistant

Contract Type: Full-Time (Term Time Only)

Key responsibilities
  • Providing one-to-one support for pupils with SEN, helping them access learning and achieve their individual targets
  • Use a range of strategies and tools to support pupil engagement and independence
  • Monitor and record progress, behaviour and areas of concern, contributing to assessments and reviews with the wider support team
  • Promote positive behaviour, modelling respectful communication, and helping pupils develop appropriate social and interpersonal skills
  • Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom displays that reflect and celebrate the school\'s values
  • Being an active and reliable member of the staff team, willing to contribute to training, staff meetings and whole-school events
About You
  • Passionate about making a positive impact on children\'s learning and development
  • Patient, empathetic and able to build strong relationships with children, particularly those with additional needs
  • Proactive, flexible and able to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Ideally holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or has previous experience as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school in London
