Job summary

Charborough Road Primary School in Bristol is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant for a temporary role (20 hours per week). The position is term time plus inset days with the Headteacher coordinating actual hours.

You will support learners, including those with special educational needs, under guidance from class teachers. Applicants should have Maths and English GCSE at grade 4+ or equivalent and NVQ3 for Teaching Assistants or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist classroom teachers to support and progress learners, including those with SEN/DI.

Hours for this role are 20 per week, actual working hours will be agreed with the Headteacher. The successful candidate will work term time only plus inset days.This role involves working alongside class teachers to support and improve the academic progress of our learners with special educational needs or disabilities.
