Job summary

Avon Valley Academy in Salisbury seeks a caring Teaching Assistant to join our behaviour and inclusion team, supporting students aged 11–16 in enhanced provisions. The role is part-time (30 hours/week, 39 weeks/year) with a focus on behaviour support and inclusive education.

You will work alongside SLT, teachers and SENCO to foster high self-worth and resilience. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to train in

Qualifications

  • Has experience working with young people with SEND/behaviour needs and/or is willing to undertake training to support young people with such needs.

Responsibilities
