Job summary

Bradley Stoke Community School is seeking a skilled HLTA to join our friendly team in the Primary Phase. You will lead learning activities and cover classes when required, providing targeted intervention support across year groups.

You will collaborate with teachers to assess progress, support pupils with diverse needs, and help maintain a positive, inclusive environment during term-time with INSET days.

Qualifications

  • HLTA status or relevant qualifications and experience.
  • Experience in a primary school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned lessons and learning activities in the absence of a teacher.
  • Lead small-group and individual interventions to raise achievement.
  • Support pupils with educational and emotional needs.
  • Assess pupil progress and adapt learning activities in partnership with teachers.
  • Promote positive behaviour and high expectations across the school.
