Job summary

Step Teachers is seeking a Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in the High Littleton area, part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership. The role involves supporting pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis, assisting teachers with lessons, and promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience with children, strong communication skills, and a patient, adaptable approach to fostering learning and development in a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children is desirable.
  • Experience within a school or educational setting is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Teaching Assistant - Primary School
