Job summary

Step Teachers is assisting a welcoming primary school in Hemington, part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership, to recruit a Teaching Assistant. You will support pupils one-to-one and in small groups, help teachers deliver lessons and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.

Excellent communication, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning are essential, with safeguarding commitments emphasised. Salary paid weekly via PAYE; experience in schools is valued.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children is desirable.
  • Experience within a school or educational setting is advantageous.

Duties as Teaching Assistant:

Your salary - dependent on experience - is paid weekly through PAYE - that means no self-employed or umbrella companies.
