Job summary

TeacherActive are hiring a Primary Teaching Assistant in South Gloucestershire to support pupils across KS1-KS2, including those with SEND. You will work with the class teacher to deliver activities and help create an inclusive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have a TA qualification (desirable), experience in primary settings, strong communication, and a patient, adaptable approach. This role is paid on a PAYE basis at £14.25–£15.50 per hour.

Are you adaptable, reliable and confident supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2?

TeacherActive are looking to hire a Primary Teaching Assistant in the South Gloucestershire on a day-to-day basis, working across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their learning, including children with additional needs or SEND, assist the class teacher with classroom activities and help create an inclusive and positive learning environment.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• Experience supporting children with additional needs or SEND
• Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and/or KS2
• Strong communication skills
• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
