Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant in South Gloucestershire to support pupils across KS1 and KS2, including those with additional needs. The role is day-to-day and involves helping the class teacher with activities and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience in primary settings, strong communication, patience, and a proactive approach. Salary is £14.25–£15.50 per hour via PAYE, with ongoing CPD and support from dedicated consultants.

Are you adaptable, reliable and confident supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2?

TeacherActive are looking to hire a Primary Teaching Assistant in the South Gloucestershire on a day-to-day basis, working across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their learning, including children with additional needs or SEND, assist the class teacher with classroom activities and help create an inclusive and positive learning environment.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• Experience supporting children with additional needs or SEND
• Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and/or KS2
• Strong communication skills
• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
