Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to support learning across KS1 and KS2 in South Gloucestershire. This role is on a day-to-day basis, starting in September, with duties including helping class teachers and creating an inclusive learning environment.

You should have experience working with children in primary settings, especially with additional needs or SEND, and you will join a team that offers on-going CPD and market leading pay.

TeacherActive are looking to hire a Primary Teaching Assistant in South Gloucestershire on a day-to-day basis, working across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their learning, assist the class teacher with classroom activities and help create an inclusive and positive learning environment.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• Experience supporting children with additional needs or SEND
• Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and/or KS2
• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
