This role supports pupils academically, emotionally, and socially, providing one‑to‑one and group support, engaging learning activities, and a safe, valued classroom experience.

Responsibilities
  • Providing one‑to‑one and group support to pupils with additional and complex needs, helping them stay engaged and feel safe and valued.
  • Preparing and delivering engaging learning activities, in partnership with teaching staff, to support pupils' academic progress and curiosity.
  • Supporting emotional, social, and physical development with patience and care, encouraging resilience and positive behaviour.
  • Taking part in a mix of classroom‑based and outdoor learning experiences – from structured lessons to creative and practical sessions.
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create a consistent and nurturing environment that enables every pupil to thrive.
