Job summary

Orchard Meadow Primary School in Packmoor is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support teachers, provide targeted intervention and help pupils reach their full potential. As a Teaching Assistant you will work closely and under the guidance of teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning, providing targeted intervention, guidance and appropriate challenge to help students achieve their full potential.

You will support a diverse range of learners, including pupils with SEND and those with English as an additional language (EAL), helping them to access learning whilst promoting confidence, independence and resilience. Working alongside your colleagues, you will contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive and succeed.

You will contribute to maintaining a calm, focused learning environment and support effective behaviour management. Your patience, adaptability, and proactive approach will help ensure all pupils can achieve their full potential, both academically and socially.
