Chichester College is seeking an experienced Teaching and Learning Manager to lead our A Level provision. The role requires a strong track record in A Level teaching and experience in leading a course or provision, driving high standards of teaching, student progress and achievement.

You will lead day-to-day management, monitor progress and use data to secure continuous improvement, while coaching staff and shaping curriculum delivery to ensure an outstanding student experience.

Formación

• A proven track record of teaching and assessment to a high standard in A Levels.
• Experience leading a course, subject area or A Level provision.
• Up-to-date knowledge of curriculum and teaching and learning with CPD.
• A teaching qualification (e.g. Cert in Education, PGCE, Level 5 Diploma).

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Teaching and Learning Manager to lead our A Level provision at Chichester College. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a strong track record of teaching in A Levels and previous experience of leading a course, subject area or A Level provision, driving high standards of teaching, student progress and achievement. As our Teaching and Learning Manager, you will: Lead the day-to-day management of the A Level provision, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, assessment, student experience and operational delivery across the curriculum area. Drive outstanding student outcomes by monitoring progress, attendance, retention and achievement, using data effectively to identify priorities and secure continuous improvement. Provide leadership, coaching and support to teaching staff, promoting high-quality practice, professional development and a culture of accountability and excellence. Lead quality assurance and curriculum development activities, ensuring programmes remain ambitious, inclusive, responsive to student needs and aligned with College priorities. What you will bring to the role: A proven record of teaching and assessment to a consistently high standard within A Level provision. Proven record of trialling new developments within own teaching & learning and assessment and supporting the development of others. Up to date knowledge of curriculum and teaching and learning, proven through continuing professional development. A relevant teaching qualification (e.g. Certificate in Education, PGCE, Level 5 Diploma in Teaching). Ability to communicate to a diverse range of people at all levels, verbally, in writing and through online tools.
