Job summary

Chichester College Group invites applications for Teaching and Learning Manager – A Levels. You will lead the day-to-day management of the A Level provision, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, assessment and student experience across the curriculum.

The role requires a proven track record in A Level teaching and leadership, with a commitment to continuous improvement, CPD and staff development. This permanent, on-site post offers collaborative leadership and a real opportunity to

Qualifications

• Proven record of teaching and assessment to a consistently high standard within A Level provision.
• Proven record of trialling new developments within own teaching, learning and assessment and supporting the development of others.
• Up to date knowledge of curriculum and teaching and learning, proven through continuing professional development.
• A relevant teaching qualification (e.g. Certificate in Education, PGCE, Level 5 Diploma in Teaching).
• Ability to communicate to a diverse range of people at all levels, verbally, in writing and through online tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of the A Level provision, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, assessment and student experience across the curriculum area.
• Drive outstanding student outcomes by monitoring progress, attendance, retention and achievement, using data effectively to identify priorities and secure continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership, coaching and support to teaching staff, promoting high-quality practice, professional development and a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Lead quality assurance and curriculum development activities, ensuring programmes remain ambitious, inclusive, responsive to student needs and aligned with College priorities.
