  • Support pupils with SEMH and other needs to achieve positive educational outcomes.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team to support learning and positive behaviour.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, identifying any additional support required.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
  • Supervise pupils during breaktimes, educational visits, and extracurricular activities.
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and personal development across the school day.

Our school will provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for up to 60 pupils aged 5-18 with a range of complex needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Role

As an SEN Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that meet the individual needs of your pupils while creating a positive and supportive learning environment.

Working closely with colleagues and wider professionals, you'll help pupils develop confidence, resilience, and a love of learning while supporting their social and emotional development.
