Salary: £120 - £250 per day (depending on experience)

We at GSL Education Kent are currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join an independent/non-maintained special school for children with SEMH needs, autism, or ADHD in Ashford. This rewarding opportunity is ideal for an experienced SEN Teacher or a mainstream teacher looking to transition into a specialist SEMH setting where every day brings the chance to positively impact children's lives.

The Role:

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEMH. You will work closely with support staff, therapists and senior leaders to create a positive learning environment that promotes both academic progress and emotional wellbeing.

The successful SEN Teacher will:

• Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons for primary-aged pupils
• Build positive and trusting relationships with students
• Support pupils with SEMH needs, behavioural challenges and additional learning difficulties
• Create a structured and nurturing classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and external professionals
• Promote emotional regulation, resilience and confidence in pupils

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
