Job summary

Lift Winton is seeking a qualified maths teacher to join a newly shaped department and drive GCSE outcomes. You will join a team of eight with support to ensure an ambitious, broad and engaging curriculum.

You will lead by example, raising standards and collaborating with leadership to realise the Trust's 490 strategy and 90% GCSE grade 4+ target. We prize a passionate, energetic, and accountable teacher who can balance independence with teamwork to accelerate improvement across the maths

Your new school

Your new role

We have recently appointed a new Head and Deputy Head of our maths department to turn us into the best Maths Department in Hampshire. You will be joining a team of eight, ranging from recently qualified to very experienced teachers. This is a rare opportunity to have both freedom and support to ensure that the curriculum is ambitious, broad and engaging. As a Trust we have an ambitious 490 strategy, we want 90% of our GCSE pupils to be scoring grade 4 or above in English and Maths and we need you to help drive this success.

You will be an approachable but accountable teacher who can raise and maintain the highest standards of progress, attainment, teaching and learning.
