Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking an inspirational, driven Teacher of Mathematics to join our dedicated Maths department in Liverpool. You will deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, prepare GCSE-ready learners, and contribute to enrichment activities such as UKMT Challenges.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent and a Mathematics degree are essential.
• Proven track record delivering Maths at KS3/KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management.
• Clear Enhanced DBS registered on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Plan, resource, and deliver high-impact Mathematics lessons for KS3 and KS4.
• Prepare KS4 students effectively for GCSE examinations with targeted interventions.
• Implement mastery-based approaches to support students of all attainment levels.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and feedback.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, along with a degree in Mathematics or a related quantitative discipline.
• Proven track record of delivering Maths at KS3 and KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management, and the ability to inspire young minds.
• Clear Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to complete one).
