Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a KS1 Teacher for a Year 2 class at a welcoming two-form entry primary school in the L32 area of Liverpool. The post is full-time and ECT-friendly, with experienced colleagues ready to mentor. You will plan engaging lessons, differentiate for all pupils, and contribute to a nurturing learning environment.

The role provides strong leadership support, collaborative planning, and opportunities to develop classroom practice within a supportive KS1 team.

Qualifications

• QTS is required for this KS1 teaching role.
• Experience or understanding of KS1, Year 2 in particular.
• Willingness to learn, reflect, and respond to feedback.
• Nurturing, child-centred approach with safeguarding focus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.
• Build positive routines and strong relationships within a Year 2 classroom.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN.
• Promote positive behaviour, inclusion and emotional wellbeing.
• Use assessment to monitor pupil progress and inform planning.
• Support pupils with phonics, early reading, writing and numeracy.
• Work closely with colleagues, the SENCO and senior leadership.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

Milk Education is delighted to be working with a warm and welcoming two-form entry primary school in the L32 area of Liverpool, who are seeking a KS1 Teacher for a Year 2 class on a full-time basis.

This role is ECT-friendly and well-suited to teachers who are either in the early stages of their career or looking to build confidence within a supportive school environment. You will be part of a collaborative KS1 team with strong leadership support, clear routines, and experienced colleagues who are happy to guide and mentor.

You will have the opportunity to develop your classroom practice while providing engaging, structured, and nurturing learning experiences for pupils.

Classroom & School Support
