Job summary

EY UK is seeking a senior technology leader within EY Tax to shape the technology strategy and application landscape, guiding investments, governance and delivery at scale. You will lead a high-performing application management team across Tax and Technology, partnering with external partners to turn strategy into measurable outcomes.

The role focuses on modernising critical platforms, strengthening resilience and driving technology-led change across a complex organisation.

Qualifications

• Strategic technology leadership with track record of defining application strategy and roadmaps.
• Deep understanding of enterprise applications, system architecture, data flows and integrations.
• Strong governance, risk, security, resilience and regulatory compliance experience.
• Credible with senior stakeholders and able to influence tech direction and investment decisions.
• Experience managing supplier relationships, vendor performance and commercial governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Tax technology strategy and application roadmap to support growth and compliance.
• Own the Tax application portfolio end-to-end across its lifecycle with governance and oversight.
• Advise on Tax systems, data structures, integrations, processes and dependencies as SME.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and vendor capabilities to guide investments.
• Drive transformation through modernization and process automation for efficiency and value.
• Maintain governance, security, resilience, continuity, and regulatory obligations.
• Manage supplier relationships, contract negotiations and service performance.
• Oversee incidents, upgrades, releases and technical change management.
• Provide executive reporting on technology performance, risk and transformation delivery.
