Job summary

EY Tax is seeking a Tax Director within the Financial Services International Tax and Transaction Services (FS ITTS) team in the UK. The role focuses on Banking, Insurance and Wealth & Asset Management, advising on multi-country projects and building strong client relationships.

You’ll lead complex tax engagements, coach junior colleagues, and identify new opportunities while collaborating with senior stakeholders across EY’s global network.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a tax practitioner with international tax expertise.
• Experience working with Financial Services clients.
• A relevant professional qualification such as ATT, ACA, CA or CTA, or equivalent breadth of technical knowledge, for example through a legal qualification.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted client relationships and advise senior stakeholders.
• Lead delivery of complex tax projects with technical excellence and commercial focus.
• Identify and develop new opportunities, leveraging EY knowledge and market awareness.
• Contribute to proposals and grow our Financial Services tax offering.
• Build internal and external networks to enable collaboration and growth.
• Lead and develop junior colleagues through coaching and development.
