Job summary

EY in the United Kingdom is seeking a Tax Director for the Financial Services International Tax and Transaction Services team. You’ll deepen your expertise across Banking, Insurance and Wealth & Asset Management and advise on multi-country projects.

You’ll lead client relationships, originate opportunities and coach the next generation of talent, delivering high-quality, commercially grounded tax advice while coordinating with UK and international authorities.

Qualifications

Significant experience as a tax practitioner, including strong reviewing skills and expertise in international tax.
Experience working with Financial Services clients.
A relevant professional qualification such as ATT, ACA, CA or CTA, or equivalent breadth of technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

Building trusted client relationships and delivering exceptional service to senior stakeholders.
Leading delivery of complex tax projects with technical excellence and commercial focus.
Identifying and developing new opportunities, leveraging EY’s wider tax knowledge.
Contributing to proposals and business development in Financial Services tax offering.
Building internal/external networks to create collaboration opportunities.
Leading and developing junior colleagues with coaching and delegation.
