Job summary

Forvis Mazars is inviting applications for a School Leaver Apprentice in Tax within the UK. You will learn how tax connects to financial performance, regulation and business decisions while working with diverse clients, studying towards a fully funded professional qualification and building confidence from day one.

The role is part of the Financial Services Tax team, offering exposure to leading organisations and a chance to develop specialist tax expertise in a fast-moving sector.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English Language at Grade 4/C (or equivalent qualifications).
• Achieved or predicted a minimum of 112 UCAS tariff points from your top three A Levels, BTECs, Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers, or other recognised Level 3 qualifications. Context for exceptional circumstances may be provided during application.

Responsibilities

• Analyser financial statements and business information to understand how organisations operate and meet their tax obligations.
• Use technology, data and specialist tax software to solve problems and support client work.
• Research tax legislation and help the team provide practical advice to clients on complex tax matters.
• Work alongside specialists across Tax, Audit and Advisory to deliver joined-up solutions for clients.
• Develop your technical knowledge of UK tax and the Financial Services sector while studying towards a professional qualification.
• Build your confidence through real client exposure, professional study and hands-on experience from day one.
