Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK offers a School Leaver Apprenticeship in Tax, providing hands-on client experience while studying toward a fully funded ATT/CTA qualification. You’ll learn how tax connects to business performance, regulation and decisions, across a diverse range of clients, with structured support from a mentor and buddy.

You will gain exposure to personal tax, trusts, estates, and international advisory, with progressions into more complex client work as you grow.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English Language at Grade 4/C or equivalent.
• A minimum of 112 UCAS tariff points achieved or predicted from top three A Levels, BTECs, Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers, or other Level 3 qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals, entrepreneurs and families manage their tax responsibilities and achieve their financial goals.
• Prepare tax returns and analyse financial information, building your understanding of how tax is reported and managed.
• Meet and work with business owners, learning about their businesses, ambitions and financial priorities.
• Build strong client relationships and develop the confidence to explain complex information clearly.
• Gain experience across personal tax, trusts and estates, UK and international advisory, and tax assurance.
• Use data, technology and AI-powered tools to work efficiently and enhance the client experience.
• Take on more responsibility as you progress, developing your technical knowledge and supporting clients with increasingly complex needs.
