Job summary

Forvis Mazars UK seeks a School Leaver Apprentice to learn how Tax connects to business performance while working with a diverse range of clients and studying towards a funded professional qualification.

You’ll gain experience across personal tax, trusts and estates, UK and international advisory, and tax assurance, building technical knowledge, commercial understanding, and client‑facing confidence with support from a buddy and mentor.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or equivalent.
• A minimum of 112 UCAS tariff points achieved or predicted from your top three A Levels, BTECs, Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers, or other recognised Level 3 qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals, entrepreneurs and families manage their tax responsibilities and achieve their financial goals.
• Prepare tax returns and analyse financial information, building your understanding of how tax is reported and managed.
• Meet and work with business owners, learning about their businesses, ambitions and financial priorities.
• Build strong client relationships and develop the confidence to explain complex information clearly.
• Gain experience across personal tax, trusts and estates, UK and international advisory, and tax assurance.
• Use data, technology and AI-powered tools to work efficiently and enhance the client experience.
• Take on more responsibility as you progress, developing your technical knowledge and supporting clients with increasingly complex needs.
