Forvis Mazars in the UK invites applicants to join as a School Leaver Apprentice in Tax Reporting. You’ll learn how tax connects to financial performance while studying towards a fully funded professional qualification and building practical client experience from day one.

You’ll join the Corporate Tax Reporting team supporting a range of clients, developing technical and commercial skills in a collaborative environment with digital tools and learning support.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English Language at Grade 4/C (or equivalent).
• Achieved or predicted a minimum of 112 UCAS tariff points from top three A Levels / equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Work on Tax Reporting, helping businesses understand, calculate and report tax obligations accurately.
• Prepare corporation tax computations, tax returns and supporting schedules using client financial information.
• Analyse accounts, financial statements and tax data to understand client operations and identify key reporting needs.
• Use tax software, spreadsheets and digital tools to organize data and support efficient reporting.
• Research changes in UK tax legislation and summarise implications for clients in practical terms.
• Support client communications by gathering information and contributing to reports and meeting prep.
• Collaborate with tax, audit and advisory teams to understand wider client issues.
• Progress from supporting compliance to managing tasks and developing client relationships.
